Joseph “Joe” Bottani IV, ChFC®, CLU®

Joe

A third-generation financial professional, Joe Bottani IV followed in the career footsteps of his father and grandfather. In the two-plus decades since that defining decision, he’s helped hundreds of families in the Midwest forge a path forward into their retirement years.

Joe is a dually licensed financial advisor who can offer both insurance and investment products and services. In addition to working directly with clients, he is the key driver of Arch’s vision and direction and ensures its execution through training, coaching and developing new team members. Whether with clients or colleagues, Joe takes pride in his ability to take complicated concepts and explain them in easy-to-understand terminology. Joe earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and English from Boston College and holds professional affiliations with American College and the National Association of Health Underwriters.

Family is and always has been the top priority in life for Joe, who was inspired to join the financial services industry in part thanks to his close relationship with his father, Arch founder Joseph Bottani III. “This business is all about people,” Joe IV said. “You can become an expert in products or services, but each time, they are applied uniquely to the individual sitting across from you. In that way, you can do the same thing every day and never do the same thing twice.”

Joe and his wife, Beth, live in Kirkwood, Missouri, with their two children, Joe V and Rose, and their Bernese mountain dog, Marlie. Joe sees his clients and colleagues as an extension of that family. When he’s not helping clients or spending time with family, Joe enjoys skiing, playing competitive racquetball and traveling — he’s been to every Major League Baseball stadium and 48 of the 50 states.
